Apparently there’s a new hit song called “Pants On The Ground”, about the ridiculousness of extra-baggy pants. Apparently there’s a fan page on Facebook for the song, too. (Update: looks like it’s on Amazon MP3 now, too! Added it to the Kenny Audibles widget.)

And speaking of Facebook, did you know that there’s now a Facebook fan page for Kenny Chronicles? It’s a good way to keep up with the comic, chat with other fans, and see all the past vote incentives after they’re gone from TopWebComics.

And speaking of vote incentives, if you vote for Kenny Chronicles on TopWebComics this week, you get to see a sketch of a lemur(possibly a future character, although really someone just urged me to draw a lemur) before it’s posted publicly on Facebook next week.

If you get enough coins from removing barnacles, you can eventually buy a power washer for your fake virtual business! That’s when the game gets exciting, and most people quit because the game changed too much.

That’s right, there have now been 199 Kenny Chronicles comics. Huzzah!

A little song to celebrate the 200th Kenny Chronicles strip!

The background…. took 6 hours to build. I had to plan EVERYTHING out, so that I know what’s in the shot and what’s not in the shot. I didn’t want the kitchen sink to magically appear in a later strip where Patrick was standing. The family lives in a cramped area, so the size of the shower affects the size of the kitchen.
In fact, I’ve made a bonus voting incentive for this special occasion! If you vote for Kenny Chronicles right now, you get to see the full still-in-progress 3D model for Kenny’s home! I say “still-in-progress” because there’s still some stuff that didn’t need modeled yet, like Kenny’s closet, or the toilet paper in the bathroom. I was very close to texturing the rodent cage and filling his shelves, but those can wait.

This was going to be just one strip, but as I scripted it, the characters did this instead. So because of them, you’ll get to look at the viewscreen THURSDAY.

This comic IS inspired by the fact that Star Trek Online is now out. I spent quite a while on the 3D models(during the Super Bowl, and then some), and the bridge set can be seen(with a portion of the view screen) by voting on Top Web Comics!

Protip: Never think “it’ll be a quick job” because the backgrounds and script are already ready to place. I underestimated the amount of CHARACTERS in this comic. 7 characters to draw, making 17 character illustrations. Yikes.

I considered making a crewmember play solitaire on one of those screens, but the characters alone were taking enough time.

I’ve been hearing this song on the radio lately(“Bed Rock” by Lil’ Wayne), and it truly is disturbing to me, because if she’s calling him Flintstone, putting him into a sexual reference…. ergh. You can call me Johnny Depp.

I was at IHOP on Saturday when I got 2 Bluetooth requests on my phone from some vulgarly-named phone. It wasn’t anybody in my group. I didn’t accept it. It could possibly have been from Kenny.
