One of my cats did this once, jumping on the toilet as I was heading to it. Usually they’re already sitting on it when I go in there.

Wall textures came from CGTextures.com. I overlapped a bunch of them for the right level of “antiquing”.

I thought of this midway through making yesterday’s comic, but decided the extra time wouldn’t be worth it, plus the idea as I saw it wouldn’t make much sense to newcomers. Well, I spent tonight making this, which is what yesterday’s comic really needed to be instead. I could have made it Monday’s comic, but it really needs to be this same week. As I created THIS comic, more ideas came and I think the wall-melting look will make it clear enough that the wall is fake and de-rezzing.

Update(Aug 2011): I know I mentioned that I had switched completely to Blender for my 3D modeling, but at the time I built this model, it was beyond my skills in Blender, so this was actually built in Second Life. I’m transitioning to Blender(a REAL 3d modeling program) very slowly, but I’m making good progress and expect to be using Blender exclusively by the end of the year. Characters won’t likely be 3D for quite a few more years, considering GOOD facial expressions still require a team of Pixar or Dreamworks animators.
