Welcome, everybody, to the Kenny Chronicles. Many tales were told of Kenny hundreds of years in the future, legendary he was. These are the stories of his teenage years before he became famous. Many were against these stories being sent into the past, but here ya go. Most of these comics will be set 115 years in the future, when Kenny was 15. Enjoy.

Oh hey, what’s that over there? A Twitter box? That’s right, you can now follow me at twitter.com/will_yums! The underscore is there so I can say it out loud without people thinking “Williams”. I can’t redirect Twitter misspellings like I can willyums.com spellings!
On it, I plan on mentioning what’s in the next comic, when I’m doing something Kenny-related, and updating on whatever is fun to update from the phone. That’s the plan, anyway.

When thinking of Father’s Day coming up, I couldn’t help thinking of the Father Of The Pride cartoon that lasted a few episodes before it was canned. It was a hilarious cartoon aimed at adults that aired on ABC, and I believe this is what did it in. ABC has a bad record for adult-oriented cartoons. Just think of Clerks. No, Father Of The Pride belonged on Comedy Central or Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim. On ABC, people expected something more kid-friendly. What they got was a pilot episode where Sigfried & Roy can’t get the two pandas to mate, and the female lion is in heat.
The show is about Siegfred & Roy’s animals, and the main characters are the white lions. Larry the Lion is voiced by John Goodman, so it HAS to be good!
I was so excited when I heard of its arrival to DVD just months after the show was canceled.

For the entire month of July, I will be posting daily comics Monday through Friday. I shall call it the “Doggone Dailies of Summer”. Now is a great time to subscribe. There are links in the sidebar to subscribe through many awesome websites, surely at least one that you already use.

I’ve submitted this t-shirt design to Ziraxia.com, but it needs YOUR VOTE to actually be printed. As soon as it gets enough good votes to be printed, I will be announcing it here. I COULD use Cafepress to sell it immediately, but if I can have it professionally screen printed then the quality(and VALUE) will be tons better.
Feel free to browse around Ziraxia.com in the meantime, this is an affiliate link :-p

Throughout July, I’ll be posting 5 comics a week, Monday-Friday. They’ll be in the style of those black marker boards restaurants use to display their daily specials. These are my daily specials for July.
After July, the style and schedule will return to normal.

On September 19-20, I will be displaying two original Kenny Chronicles comics at Toonfest in Marceline, MO. One of them will be the Lardy’s Jr. one, and the other one MIGHT be a comic that will be posted AFTER Toonfest(a sneak peek!).
Also showing up at Toonfest will be Jerry Scott(Baby Blues & Zits)(Read new post for update), Jan Eliot(Stone Soup), Dave Coverly(Speed Bump), and Greg Evans(LUANN). They will be speaking at the theater AND their original art will be displayed alongside mine! Or, mine displayed alongside theirs, more accurately.
I will keep you updated on this. I hope to see you there.
(Update: Tom Richmond will be speaking)

…so updates are now Mondays and Thursdays! They(a.k.a. Webcomics Weekly) say that having more updates gets more readers. Let’s see if we can make that happen! My goal is to eventually go 5 days a week EVERY month(and have merchandise), and without the rushed art I had in July. Those were all done in one day(except one). Yeah.

Jerry Scott is unable to make it to Toonfest in Marceline, MO, so the nice people of Toonfest have asked Tom Richmond to take his place. Tom spoke there in 2005, and I’ve got to say he’s a very good speaker. Very interesting and fun guy. He was also going to be there anyway this year, so he was a natural choice to emcee the thing.
